There was no “master plan.” In fact, there was no plan at all. Yet Chicago's pioneering record label Wax Trax! Records launched careers for a legion of bands (Ministry, Front 242, KMFDM, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, and many more) and ushered in a whole new genre of music known as "industrial" before flaming out in epic style. At the core were founders Jim Nash and Dannie Flesher, two music-obsessed fans who just wanted to share their passion without compromise. Featuring interviews with key artists from Front 242, Bauhaus, Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, KMFDM, Throbbing Gristle and many more.
